Ha ha! I just noticed the title of your blog, I like it!!! It actually sounds a lot like the "NBAD" I've remarked about having...New Beetle Affective Disorder...this strange, deep infatuation for VW Beetles, washing your car, standing in yoru garage just staring at it, or driving past the HJ Martin building in Green Bay just to be able to look at yourself driving such a beautiful creature. :P
And yeah, this SpongeBob kid is a whackjob. I remember a similar story happening to a little shiester in Sheyboygan at the Piggly Wiggly there; he crawled up into a jumbo-gumball machine because he wanted a gumball or something?? The fire dept. had to come and tear him out with the JAWS of life.
